Pokémon Worlds Square - London

 

Brief

Create an immersive Pokémon experience for fans, families, and attendees of the Pokémon World Championships 2022 in London.

 

Execution

We worked with the Pokémon Company and curated unique and enjoyable Pokémon experiences held over the course of our 3 day activation. We were able to appeal to both die-hard and casual fans, while working against many brand guidelines. Our event went alongside the London Pokémon Center pop-up and the World Championships, so the footprint was quite big. Because of this, our client’s main concern was mitigating lines. We were able to solve this with time slotted attendance and a wristband system.
Big note: I’m a huge (“huge” is underselling) Pokémon fan and was able to leverage my knowledge of the brand to tailor these experiences to fans like myself.

Responsibilities included Art Direction, Concepts and Brainstorming, Design.
